Circle Interview Questions

Circle would rather see a project than a whiteboard. Nine of these 11 questions were set as take-home projects, a share almost no other company page here matches, and they are build-something briefs: an in-memory database with TTL expiry and a backup path, a banking payment scheduling system, a simplified multi-level banking system, and a cheapest-itinerary search constrained by date filters. Two shorter exercises cover tracing and cutting redundant curl requests, and writing PostgreSQL updates behind a date filter. Ten of the 11 come from Software Engineer interviews, and system design and coding sit level at 4 apiece, which is what the take-home format produces: you design the thing and implement it in the same submission, then defend both. Ratings lean up, with 4 marked hard against 7 medium, and money movement shows in nearly every prompt, from scheduling a payment to keeping a multi-level ledger consistent. Nothing here sits behind the paywall, 5 of the briefs open in a console and 7 come with a solution written out.
