The OA was 90 minutes with 4 levels, and I used C++. Looking back, I probably should have used Python, which would have saved a lot of time. They also require your camera and mic on the whole time plus screen recording, and you have to show ID before you start. No AI assistance at all; they said you can keep one tab open for looking up syntax. It has really been a long time since I last job hunted. Are the requirements this high now?
It is basically one workspace with IDs and credits. Level 1 asks you to support creating, adding credit, and instant transfers. Level 2 asks you to output the top K. Level 3 is setting up future transfers and canceling future transfers. I never got to look at level 4.
The difficulty is not high, but time is tight and the accuracy requirement is high, and you need to know your syntax cold. Level 1 was basically instant. For level 2 I first wanted to use a PQ, but my comparator had a bug, I was running low on time and did not want to debug it, so I just used sort instead. That passed too. For level 3 you need to add a transaction PQ, and besides the two functions for scheduling and canceling, you also have to write a function that executes everything scheduled before the current timestamp, and then call it before every operation. I ran out of time on that one, though I did write out the rough logic. Afterwards I went over it with AI, and it said level 4 was very likely merging two of them, plus getting the balance at each point in time. I feel the merge should not be a big problem, but getting historical balances would require a big rewrite of my earlier code. I think I could have finished with another hour, so it does not mean much now.
I only passed the first two levels, so I am guessing I failed. Hope this helps whoever comes next.
