I read a lot of interview reports here while preparing, so now I'm giving something back, especially since there seem to be so few Amazon Robotics posts. I interviewed in March this year for a summer 2026 internship.
Two rounds, one hour each, both behavioral questions + LeetCode.
Make sure to prepare the Leadership Principles well. Behavioral questions took half an hour in the manager round. Be able to tell a corresponding story for every Leadership Principle. I've heard that starting in 2026, they also add a GenAI question, such as how you use AI.
First round: I couldn't find a matching LeetCode problem. Roughly, there are a bunch of robots and a few charging stations. When a robot's battery drops below 50%, it needs to be sent to an empty charging station. Once it's charged above 95%, it can leave the station and return to work. APIs for things like getting each robot's battery level are already provided. You only need to implement a function that checks which robots need charging and which ones have finished charging, assuming this function is called several times per second.
Second round: A very simple question. Given an array of products and an array of packages, each product and package is a triple representing its length, width, and height, for example (len, width, height). Determine whether there is a package that can fit all the products.
