Asana Software Engineer interview with repeated rescheduling

From the beginning, the scheduling and communication felt unreliable. I had multiple rounds where steps seemed to be skipped without much explanation, and I kept waiting for the next stage to move forward. Several interviews also had to be rescheduled because the interviewers didn't show up at the scheduled times.

One HR conversation felt mostly like a checklist. The questions seemed to come from a script, with little room to expand, and I didn't feel there was much effort to understand my experience or how I worked. I was told I'd hear back within a certain timeframe, but the timeline stretched longer than expected. That added to my sense that the process wasn't being managed carefully.

By the time it ended, I didn't get an offer. The final feeling wasn't about interview difficulty. It was about how many things fell through the cracks. Even if I had performed well, the experience made it hard to trust what was happening behind the scenes.

Location: Ireland. Overall feedback: Negative. Offer status: No offer.
