Capgemini Software Engineer interview: ServiceNow scenario troubleshooting

Technical ScreenHard

This was technical from start to finish, but unlike a generic software-engineer screen. It began on Microsoft Teams and focused on a specific toolset and real scenarios rather than theory. My questions centered on ServiceNow ITSM, scripting, and troubleshooting.

Because the prompts were scenario-based, I had to work out the expected behavior rather than recite definitions. Some were long and not clearly explained, so it was hard to judge the right level of detail or organize my response. The interview was professional but challenging largely because of the questions' length and clarity.

I cleared the rounds I took, but did not receive an offer. The bar was not only technical knowledge. It was troubleshooting and communicating through ambiguous scenarios.

Location: India. Overall feedback: negative. Offer status: no offer.
