My virtual technical interview ran about 20 to 30 minutes and was focused and demanding. Most questions were Salesforce-specific rather than generic coding. I discussed configurations, flows, and the structure of test classes.
They also asked about Apex batch classes, including what they are, their methods, and why queueable classes are preferred in some cases. Scheduled classes came up too, along with startTest and stopTest in a test class. For permissions, I had to explain how two teams with the same role and profile could see only their own opportunities. On exceptions, they wanted the exception types tied to the messages that would appear.
