About a week after a recruiter call, I had a technical screen that surprised me with its intensity. It ran about 45 minutes and combined behavioral and technical questions. The technical work leaned toward system design: I had to reason through a notification-delivery service, including reliability and scaling, rather than just draw a high-level picture.
The later interviews stayed rigorous, with a strong focus on scalability and reliability. I kept refining how I explained tradeoffs and failure modes. I felt well prepared going in, and the company-specific scenarios I found were close to what I faced.
After the interview series, I received and accepted an offer. It was demanding, but rewarding because the bar was clear and I could see that my thought process was being assessed.
Location: United States. Overall feedback: Positive. Offer status: Got offer.
