Behavior round: challenging project, diversity, differences in working style, learning. The interviewer was really nice and easy to talk to.
AR (Ad Recommendation) round: talking with the interviewer felt really comfortable, and they were very good at controlling the pace of the interview.
SQL round: Active Ad Revenue based on different creation source. The question changed a little from what I was expecting, but I was so nervous at the time that I couldn't really follow the process at all, and I did a pretty sloppy job. The interviewer was a pretty cool guy.
AE round: a bit on User Comment Distribution. What was strange is that right off the bat they told me it was a video platform and had me define a bunch of metrics to measure engagement, and then I got asked the exact same AR question again. During the interview I actually checked with the interviewer about it — I said this was the same question I'd already gotten in my AR round, did she want to switch to something else? She said it was fine, which left me pretty confused — I genuinely had no idea what the round was even testing for the whole time. This interviewer was a bit pushy, kept interrupting me throughout, and kept pushing for follow-ups. I said I wanted to lay out my framework first before adding details, but she didn't seem to want to hear my approach at all — she only wanted to hear what she wanted to hear. Even details I'd already covered came back up in her follow-up questions. Not a great person to work with, honestly. 🙏
