SQL: Active Ads
AR: Ads algorithm
AE: Fake account
Behavioral: Breakthrough project, disagreeing with someone, reporting to someone new to the team, how to make others feel welcome
These are all old questions from the forum — really grateful to everyone who shared before me. Though it might be because they're old questions, the interviewer had changed them. The SQL one especially — same framework, but what you actually had to calculate was completely different from what's posted here. For example, "top 10 least active advertiser IDs' country" became "top 10 least active countries," and "grew by more than 1000 compared to last year" became "exceeded 1000 last year." You really have to read the question carefully.
The SQL round, which I was most confident about since I use SQL every day, I almost ran out of time on.
The SQL and AR interviewers were both friendly-looking young women, and the AE interviewer looked like a young guy — no matter how I answered, the back-and-forth was pretty good, and the Q&A at the end was handled seriously too. The Behavioral interviewer was fine at first, but got more and more distracted as it went on, with a serious expression; by the Q&A he was completely zoned out and had me repeat the question, which made me wonder if he'd just gotten pulled into some escalation and wasn't really present for the interview...
Not sure if I'll pass. Sharing this here, hoping for a good result and the level I'm hoping for.
