After a recruiter and screening step, I faced a fast, high-pressure set of SQL and case tasks. The Python and SQL round covered SQL mechanics and quick reasoning, including common data structures, CASE statements, and window functions. The pace stood out because the window closed as soon as it was time for the case study, so accuracy and efficiency both mattered.
The case work was more demanding than I expected. It was much more SQL heavy than I had anticipated, with multiple business-case queries, before shifting to a full research design for an A/B experiment. Everything was tightly timed, with about 40 minutes expected for the whole task. The challenge was moving through the reasoning quickly without losing correctness.
I did not receive an offer. The experience felt built around critical thinking under speed, not just recalling patterns. The topics themselves were not the hardest part for me; the lack of margin for error once the clock began was.
