I started with two screening conversations and then entered a set of loop interviews that matched the company's familiar style. The technical work centered on LeetCode-style problems, and the system design could go deep. I was surprised by how much the interviewers varied, even with a similar format. Some offered hints, while others expected me to keep going independently with very little guidance.
I also went through a full loop where the goal was clear: solve multiple questions in a tight window while showing strong debugging and follow-through. I recognized the structure of one coding problem from practice material, which helped me stay calmer during that part.
Despite a strong technical showing, I was rejected. The feedback I took away was that the non-coding areas, especially structured leadership expectations, carried as much weight as getting the mechanics right. It felt less like one standout moment and more like staying aligned with everything they measured.
