After I applied, the process felt smooth and laid-back. I spoke with a small panel, and the conversation was comfortable because the interviewers were kind and easy to talk to. Most questions were behavioral, aimed at understanding how I had worked before and handled different situations.
They also wanted to hear what I knew about Northern Trust and my previous roles, but the discussion was not heavily technical. It focused on fit and communication rather than deep finance calculations. I had a genuinely good experience getting to know the team and asking questions about how they worked.
