The interview itself was not technically difficult, but the logistics threw me off immediately. I attended a graduate assessment centre scheduled to begin at 9:00 and was told to arrive early. At about 9:10, I was still waiting at the front desk with no staff in sight.
During the introduction, I learned that the session was actually supposed to start later, around 9:30, and that the expected arrival time had been inconsistent. There was meant to be a peer session, but the people who appeared did not match the peer group I expected. It turned out that the company had not taken graduates for years, which made the setup seem poorly planned.
The confusion and lack of coordination, rather than the interview content, made the day feel unprofessional even though I had arrived ready to take part. I did not get an offer, and I felt more frustration than anything technical.
Location: Australia. Overall feedback: negative. Offer status: no offer.
