The recruiter screening felt as though it was going fairly well, but I received an automated rejection shortly afterward with almost no detail. The questions I remember were basic: tell me about yourself, why I wanted to work there, and why I was considering other roles.
The process ended so quickly that I did not feel there had been much evaluation beyond that first conversation. Since the screen itself felt smooth, the lack of follow-up made the rejection feel abrupt and under-explained. I was left wondering what, if anything, I was meant to improve.
