This place is pretty interesting, they do AI marketing. It's kind of like doing SEO for AI's answers. There were two rounds. The first was with a recruiter, and after chatting for about 15 minutes they asked me to do a coding exercise, and I was allowed to use AI. The problem was roughly: they give you some API endpoints, with docs telling you what each API does, and in the end you pick a few of those APIs to implement — creating an account, adding funds, checking your balance, then spending credit and checking your balance again.
So I opened up Codex, typed in the requirements from the coding exercise, and it generated the code.
When I ran it, I hit a problem — the docs didn't tell you what the API endpoint URL was, or what the key was. So the AI-generated code couldn't run. You had to open the docs site in a browser, run the example there yourself, and inspect the network calls to see the actual request — that's how you'd find that info. Overall the difficulty was pretty low, it just took about 15 minutes to get it all done.
