I interviewed on a Tuesday and learned the next day that I had passed. I was asked for availability for four final rounds, which I expected might be scheduled together.
The task was to read gift-exchange participants from a CSV file and print assignments. Everyone needed to give and receive one gift, without being assigned to themselves. A follow-up introduced restrictions on who could give to each recipient; one example left someone with only one permitted donor.
Using AI did not make the interview effortless. It suggested two algorithms whose names were unfamiliar to me, and I felt nervous trying to understand them during the session. I recommended practicing the problems with AI beforehand instead of assuming that tool access would be enough.
