Snowflake Mid-Level Software Engineer Interview Experience — Two Technical Rounds, Set Card Game Follow-up Ran Out of Time

I interviewed about a month ago. Mid level.
The HR screen already told me they would ask medium to hard questions.
There were 2 interviews of 1 hour each. In some of them you get 2 questions in the hour, in some just 1.
We started with a quick self-introduction and then went straight into the problem.

The first round was a variant of a known problem. It asked for the sum of all node values along the left and right boundaries and the bottom.

Second round:

The first question: given a set of cards, each card has several attributes, and I had to decide whether three given cards form a valid set.
Something like this: each card has four attributes, Color, Shape, Number, and Shading. The rule is that for each attribute, the values on the three cards must be either all the same or all different for the three cards to form a valid Set. It is similar to the Set card game design question that has been posted on LeetCode Discuss.

There was a follow-up: given any number of cards, find which ones can form a set.
I gave an O(N^3) solution, and it seemed like they wanted me to keep optimizing to O(N^2). In the end I ran out of time and could only describe the idea. Failed, moving on.
