After recruiter outreach, I had a short HR call, but the recruiter moved quickly from question to question without much engagement or follow-up. The technical part was roughly where I expected it to be. After I finished, though, I received no feedback or clear yes-or-no answer, and my follow-ups went nowhere. I had been told to expect an email within a week if I progressed, but weeks passed without one.
The human side seemed to disappear after I had invested time. In one conversation, the feedback felt pre-made and did not match what I thought a screen should cover. It mentioned circumstances and seemed to revisit an earlier interview window, but the reason still felt vague and impersonal. In another stage, interviewers seemed disengaged and returned to a predefined list instead of exploring deeper components. Even after long rounds, I got no feedback.
The process had several steps, and each left me waiting for a response that did not come. The decision may have been reasonable, but the communication was broken enough to leave a sour taste.
