For my Amazon Supermicro Software Engineer track, the process began with an OA combining coding and work simulation. The workstyle assessment used Leadership Principles situations, with additional feedback and workstyle components. I then progressed to virtual interviews of about an hour each.

The first interview opened with a brief introduction and language check; I chose C++. I worked on grid and shortest-path questions, then a modified version involving the minimum walls to break. Follow-ups covered BFS versus DFS, the right data structure, cycle avoidance, revisiting nodes, and edge cases. Because I mentioned GenAI and RAG work, I was also asked about hallucination verification and semantic search across massive logs, including chunking, embeddings, and scaling.

The second interview was behavioral and problem-solving based on Leadership Principles. It was demanding but technically coherent. I was not successful, and I left thinking the GenAI, RAG, and coding follow-ups together had raised the bar.

Location: Hyderābād. Overall feedback: Neutral. Offer status: No offer.
