The interview was confirmed for an evening start, then moved less than a day beforehand because of interviewer availability. The earliest replacement was late at night, leaving little time to get focused.
It began with a project deep dive, then shifted to live coding. I had to understand two problems, ask clarifying questions, explain my approach, and produce working solutions in roughly 25 minutes. There was no time to run code or thoroughly check edge cases. The interviewer was professional and technically engaged, but the reschedule, late hour, and time limit made it difficult to perform at my best. I did not get an offer and was left concerned about cross-time-zone collaboration and work-life balance.
