The process felt unusually intense and a little chaotic from the start. After an initial technical screen, I had a supply-chain technical round with several interviewers. It covered SQL, Python, statistics, including a probability question, and deeper machine-learning model details. The session lasted about 1.5 hours and focused heavily on time-series modeling. It was hard to follow every prompt and nuance because of the interviewer's accent.
The next round was not more organized. Across the technical stages, I saw resume-based discussion, hands-on pandas and coding, plus decision trees, XGBoost, clustering, probability math, transformers, BERT, and cross-entropy. It was a lot of ground, and it was hard to tell what depth they expected.
Late in the process, I passed a first technical round with a hiring manager and was invited to the next one, but the interviewer did not show up. Recruiting said they would schedule a time to discuss it, but nothing happened. About twenty days later, I received a rejection. The lack of clarity and missed interview made the experience rough, even though some of the technical areas were ones I could discuss.
