Zscaler Account Executive objection-handling role plays

The process started with a recruiter screen, followed by a round with two interviewers at the same time. That middle stage was more hands-on. I had to work through an objection-handling role play, which forced me to focus on responding in the moment instead of polishing a perfect story.

After that, I had another round with senior leadership and a new role-play scenario. The interviews focused on my sales process and how I think when someone pushes back, rather than just whether my background sounded impressive. I felt that I performed reasonably well across the discussions, but the outcome didn't go my way.

What I remember most was the overall tone. The early recruiter conversations felt more scripted than curious. During the role-play-heavy rounds, I worked hard to stay composed while they tested my reactions to objections. I never received an offer, and the mixed communication and limited engagement from the start made the experience less satisfying than it could have been.

Location: Dallas, TX. Overall feedback: Negative. Offer status: No offer.
