Full Onsite Loop with a Claude-Assisted Coding Round

I mass-applied for an infra role that sits under the ML research org. The interview process matched what other people have already posted here on the forum. Onsite loop: Task scheduler VO BQ: Standard questions, and it ended early. The highlight was during the time to ask questions back — I asked the interviewer if there was anything she didn't like about Scale AI, and she said that because of RT…

Debug a Real Codebase, Then an LLM API Round

Phone Screen It was the "party" question that's already been posted on the forum, pretty easy. Debug This round felt a bit harder. The question was the "assign project" one that's already on the forum, and the main issue was that time was tight. It's a new codebase with several files, and you need to go back and forth through it a lot (would've been a lot easier if I could've just used AI for thi…

Impatient Interviewer, Essay-Length Question

I'd looked at this company before and thought about applying, but I never really believed I'd pass an interview here, so I went in with a "just try it" mindset. The whole interview was really contradictory. You'd think a technical interview would be short and to the point, but the interviewer was very impatient the whole way through. He gave only a very brief, shallow rundown of himself and what…

What are interview experiences?

An interview experience is a candidate's own account of a hiring loop — not a question bank entry. It tells you the shape of the process: how many rounds there were, what each round actually tested, how long the gaps between them ran, and what the recruiter said at the end. That context is the part a question list cannot give you.

How to read them

Weight recent write-ups more heavily — interview loops change, often within a year. Read several for the same company and role rather than one: a single account tells you what one interviewer asked, while five tell you what the bar is. Note the outcome badge too, since a rejection write-up usually explains the gap far more precisely than an offer one.

Every published experience earns 50 XP, and each of the first 3 likes it receives in a day earns you 10 XP more. Likes must come from established accounts; like-for-like swaps and likes from your own second account are not paid. Write it while the details are fresh — the round order, the exact prompts, and how much time you were given are what the next reader needs.
