Search Ranking
Search Ranking
Work through the three questions as one search-system review. First draw the boundary between retrieval and ranking. Then explain what a click does and does not tell you about relevance. Finally, choose measurements that would reveal failures before release and changes in user outcomes afterward.
When comparing with the reference answers, trace any weak result back to a stage. A missing candidate, an incorrectly ordered candidate, and a slow response require different investigations. State the candidate set, evaluation cutoff, and assumptions behind your labels so the reviewer can follow each decision.
