Storage system

A microblogging platform stores several different workloads: authoritative posts, social relationships, media objects, search indexes, and analytics. The historical Twitter examples below illustrate those roles. They describe different periods and must not be read as one current production inventory.

Reading the examples: Distinguish a dated engineering report from the design we are proposing. A technology migration demonstrates a response to a workload; it does not make that technology mandatory for this exercise.
