Ramp Interview Questions

Ramp Interview Questions

Ramp's 41 reported questions come almost entirely from Software Engineer loops, with one Frontend Engineer report alongside. Coding carries 18 of them, but the closest thing to a Ramp signature is the 15 filed under Software Engineering Fundamentals: build something small and make it correct, rather than recall an algorithm. Candidates describe multi-level warehouse storage with weighted retrieval, working out how many days off to convert into workdays to maximise earnings, reconstructing which airport a user was in at a given time from flight records, and a single-screen tic-tac-toe where the state management is the point. Design questions stay close to the product, including a payment-count dashboard that has to hold up as both readers and update rates grow. The round mix is the unusual part: 15 of the 41 arrived as a take-home project rather than a live session, 19 as a technical screen, and only 7 as an onsite. Nothing here is rated easy and 15 sit in the hard band, so expect the take-home to be a real build. 17 questions open in a runnable console and 23 carry a written solution, with 80% of the page sitting outside the paywall.
