The interview rounds were reasonable and professional, and the technical part felt manageable. I covered React and JavaScript topics such as hooks, reconciliation, HOCs, and performance patterns, plus some architecture discussion. A managerial round followed on past projects, team fit, and how I communicated through experience.
After I cleared both interviews, I was given an online assessment covering React, React Native, and Angular. Although the role was for React, the platform asked me to confirm submission without completing the other sections. I confirmed and submitted, expecting the relevant section to matter most.
Instead, I received an automated rejection email within seconds. It felt as though the system cared about completion rather than the relevant score. I did not get an offer, and the final stage left the strongest negative impression because it felt disconnected from the role requirements.
Location: Pune. Overall feedback: negative. Offer status: no offer.
