Accenture Technology Software Engineer interview with unclear final status

After I applied, the process moved quickly through an online coding assessment, a technical interview, and an HR discussion. The technical work covered core Java, Spring Boot, SQL, JavaScript, React, Git, and SDLC. We spent a lot of time discussing the projects on my resume, alongside scenario and HR questions. It felt moderately difficult and professionally run.

What stayed with me was the lack of closure. I did not get meaningful next-step communication after the interview rounds. Even when my status changed to "No Longer Under Consideration," it felt abrupt, as if I had been left waiting without a real explanation. The timing and messaging were especially frustrating after the time I had invested.

The interviews themselves were reasonable and people were supportive at first, but the post-interview experience undermined that. I felt the final assessment or stage did not clearly connect to the role, and the rejection came with little context.

Location: Pune. Overall feedback: negative. Offer status: no offer.
