After that, I went through an onsite that lasted six hours and included multiple rounds. There were coding and algorithm questions, design questions, a code review, and a culture-fit conversation with the hiring manager.
The process felt manageable at first because they set expectations about the time involved. I was told to allow around four hours for the take-home, although it wasn't tightly proctored or timed. The people I spoke with seemed reasonable, and the pace felt organized rather than chaotic. Even though the take-home took longer than expected, the rest of the process was straightforward.
I didn't receive an offer, but I came away with a more positive impression than I expected. The interviews felt coherent, and the interviewers seemed professional and engaged.
