Amazon DSP Software Engineer interview: ML, CS, and HR breadth

I went through two rounds. The first was a technical assessment, followed by an HR round. The technical questions were mid-to-difficult and covered ML concepts as well as computer-science fundamentals, so it was not just DSA trivia.

HR reviewed my resume and asked HR questions. That made the process feel like an attempt to connect my background and projects to how I would work day to day.

The interview was difficult because it tested technical depth and how I presented myself at the same time. I did not receive an offer, and I came away feeling that neither side of the evaluation could be weak.

Location: Mumbai. Overall feedback: neutral. Offer status: no offer.
