I had a shorter, fairly direct process with two to three rounds that combined behavioral discussion and lighter technical work. The behavioral round checked Bias for Action, my fluency with GenAI ideas, and how I handle troubleshooting situations. The coding round was more about practical problem solving than deep systems work.
Most of the coding was easy to medium LeetCode-style material. I remember finding duplicates and longest common prefix, the sort of questions where getting the details right is usually enough to reach a correct solution. Leadership Principle check-ins appeared throughout, though the overall level did not feel like the hardest bar I have seen.
I was still rejected despite feeling that I performed reasonably well. That surprised me because the technical questions were not especially difficult. My takeaway was that the algorithm was only part of the evaluation. Behavioral and Leadership Principle alignment mattered a great deal, and I did not quite meet what they were looking for.
