I started with a recruiter call, followed by a technical discussion with the hiring manager. There was no coding in that round. We talked through my experience and how it fit the role. After that, I had a DSA-style technical round with one coding problem that didn't feel especially hard.
The virtual onsite had four rounds: a behavioral interview with the hiring manager, a technical interview about Python code snippets, a systems design round, and a final Leetcode-style problem in JavaScript. I was a little surprised by how conversational the coding rounds were. They emphasized that working through the code and communicating clearly mattered more than producing a flawless solution.
It didn't turn into an offer, even though the questions across the rounds felt manageable. I left feeling that the bar was more about being productive and clear than being perfect, which made the process less intimidating than I'd expected.
