The process looked as though it would go smoothly at first, but the timing and communication soured it. I had gone through a couple of interviews out of college and did not get the role. That was disappointing but fair. About two years later, a recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn to reconnect and set up an interview.
The recruiter then failed to show up without an explanation, which felt unprofessional and wasted my time. In later stages with other people, the process still felt unfinished. A short hiring-manager call was basic, followed by a longer, mostly behavioral and background-focused meeting with a VP. I did not hear back after that. In another round, I was told the conversation went well and heard positive feedback, then waited weeks before learning there was no cap space.
A few responses did arrive within days, which helped. But after a rejection, I received no feedback and follow-ups were ignored. I never felt my effort was met with respect for my time, and that is what I remember most.
Location: United States. Overall feedback: negative. Offer status: no offer.
