Clipboard Health Product Manager interview: written case study followed by quantitative follow-ups

Right after applying, I received a lengthy case study and had to submit my reasoning in writing. It wasn't a short prompt. I spent real time analyzing it and preparing a document that explained my approach and the steps I took. After submitting the write-up, I was invited to interview.

During the live conversation, the interviewer pressed me with follow-up questions that weren't fully covered in my submission. They used hypotheticals to test how I thought and whether my quantitative instincts held up under pressure. That threw me off because I expected the interview to stay closely aligned with the work I'd already completed, but it didn't.

I also remember receiving a rejection very quickly after submitting, which made the process feel even more abrupt. I didn't move forward. What stayed with me was the mismatch between the heavy upfront writing, the later gotcha-style questioning, and the lack of meaningful feedback afterward.

Location: United States. Overall feedback: Negative. Offer status: No offer.
