Google Software Engineer interview: algorithm rounds and delayed feedback

The process felt complicated and drawn out. After the early steps, I had a couple of algorithm-focused meetings with technical reviewers and an HR personal questionnaire. There were long gaps without updates, and I received no constructive feedback once it was over.

Some early steps seemed smooth, but after submitting my materials I couldn't tell when they'd be reviewed or how long the decision would take. The uncertainty was stressful. I didn't even know which stage was holding things up.

After a long silence, I was finally rejected. The application had given me some hope at the beginning, but the lack of follow-through and useful feedback left me with a negative impression.

Location: Poland. Overall feedback: neutral. Offer status: no offer.
