Applied at the end of May, got the OA the same day, and finished it within three days — two medium-difficulty questions.

Got an email from HR pretty quickly saying I passed the OA, asking for my resume and LinkedIn. A day later they called to schedule the superday. The call was only a few minutes, didn't ask about my work experience at all — I had prepared a self-introduction but never got to use it.

There weren't many candidates on interview day, around 10 people. For the coding part, they gave me a PR with a long chunk of code and asked me to find the problems, 10-15 minutes. The interviewer implied there were a bunch of issues in there, but I only found one at the time, something related to SRP. As soon as I finished, the interviewer quickly moved on to the coding problem. The problem statement was really long, I stared at it for a while and couldn't quite understand it — my mental state had already fallen apart at this point, and understanding the problem alone ate up most of the time, so I only had about 10 minutes left to actually code. The problem was medium difficulty, but the interviewer kept giving hints.

The system design round was about a bank's payment system, with a heavy emphasis on reliability. I wrote my answer out under different sections, like database, requirements, and flow.

For the behavioral round, they asked follow-up questions based on my own answers, about 5 questions total. We finished 15 minutes early.

It took about a week to get the email saying I passed the interview, then team matching started — 90 days in the pool.

I heard some people still haven't gotten matched after three months. Kind of nervous about that.
