I then switched platforms for additional JavaScript exercises that lasted quite a while. More HR coordination followed, and the role details shifted during the process.
I eventually reached a technical interview that went very well. The manager said I would get an answer the following week, whether positive or negative, which gave me some confidence. Then nothing arrived for weeks. When I looked back, three weeks had passed without an update from HR.
The experience felt negative mostly because communication stopped after a promising technical conversation.
