My first Micro1 screen used AI and felt genuinely hostile. The bot rushed through prompts, skipped ahead when I paused, and mispronounced terms in technical questions. It felt less like an interview and more like an automated quiz.
What bothered me most was the lack of room for a back-and-forth. I could not really ask questions or clarify anything. Instead, the interaction narrowed into rapid-fire evaluation. It felt like the AI was the main character and I was only a voice to be measured.
I did not continue with the process, and it left a bad taste. My reflection was that a technical screen can be valid, but the interview experience still matters. This one made me feel the company cared more about the bot's flow than treating candidates like people.
