There was a system-design discussion, a coding component, and some low-level design questions. Even as the topics broadened, the tone stayed conversational. The managerial part seemed more concerned with how I thought and handled pressure than with rehearsed buzzwords.
I did not get an offer. Still, it felt like a real check of communication and culture fit alongside practical engineering. What stood out was the emphasis on being easy to work with, not only having the right answer.
