A recruiter reached out in April and scheduled a video call to get a sense of my situation, and mentioned there would be a lot of openings coming up after that.
In June I noticed a large number of Salesforce job postings, but the recruiter seemed to have forgotten about me, so I emailed to nudge them.
Interviewing for SDE 2.
First round: Hiring manager screening. Mainly asked about my background, and why I wanted to join Salesforce.
Second round: OA, two questions. I don't remember the first one, it wasn't hard.
For the second question, the input was 2^61-1.
After I submitted, they said I passed the next day and started scheduling the third round.
Third round: no coding, this should be specific to the GCP team for this role. There were two interviews total.
The first one mainly tested public cloud knowledge. The interviewer seemed to be required to ask certain questions, covering computing, testing, and a GCP/AWS-related question. The interviewer was a senior guy, very nice.
The second one was similar but went deeper — things like the control panel, worker nodes, master nodes, some k8s command lines, data security, CI/CD, and so on. The interviewer was probably a principal.
