It began like a normal recruiter screen, then moved straight into back-to-back meetings with a peer and the hiring manager. A short mock discovery call was on the schedule, but the manager arrived late. We ran out of time before I could properly debrief the exercise, so the day felt rushed instead of considered.
The silence after the meetings left a strange aftertaste. I was told the interviews were done, kept waiting for follow-up, and never heard back. After putting time into preparation, that lack of response made the effort feel discounted. I ended up more frustrated than clear about where I stood.
The later interviews had generic questions that sometimes felt borderline in tone. The case study did not seem connected to sales, and some interviewers came across as pretentious to me. I did not get an offer and left feeling that the process fell short of the care I expected from Stripe.
