Supermicro Software Engineer interview: assessment test cases and behavioral follow-ups

After applying, I completed an online assessment with four test cases in the first part and seven in the second. Then came coding and leadership-focused interviews. One coding round covered graphs and arrays, another covered linked lists and binary search trees, and the bar-raiser felt harder than the earlier rounds.

I also heard another version of the overall flow: an OA with two coding pieces, an AI-assisted project question, a leadership-principles prompt, and a system-design-heavy question; then a phone screen with a LeetCode question. The onsite version had three LeetCode-style questions, system design, and behavioral emphasis in nearly every session. Behavioral follow-ups could take about half an hour, so the process tested how well I tied my stories to the principles they wanted.

Location: Hyderābād. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: no offer.
