After I connected with the recruiter, the process moved slowly and felt disorganized. There were timing problems, including a reschedule when the hiring manager did not show up. The pace was the hardest part for me to tolerate.
Once the technical interview happened, I introduced myself and discussed how I would approach the role, including what KPIs I would set. I then worked through practical troubleshooting scenarios: a page that would not load for someone without prior platform experience, early signs of an access-permission cause, and a rise in ticket volume over a week. I also explained how I would use SQL to find recurring patterns, prioritize several urgent tickets when urgency was unclear, and handle the first 30 minutes of a major ticket spike before knowing whether it was a system issue or user error.
I did not feel confident about the experience. The subjects were practical, but the logistics made it harder to perform well.
