TSMC Software Engineer Interview Experience: Conflict and operational-workflow scenarios

TSMC·Software Engineer·Reported Aug 2026

I had two video-call rounds. The first was a one-on-one with the hiring manager for about an hour. The second was also about an hour and included the hiring manager and two process engineers.

Both rounds asked specific questions about handling conflict and operational issues at work. They covered high workloads and efficient task management, including how I communicate, prioritize, and keep work moving when things get messy. The questions were technical-adjacent because they used real workflow problems, but the main test was consistent reasoning and execution rather than memorized concepts.

Location: United States. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: no offer.
