I went through what looked like a standard sales-track process: an internal recruiter round, a sales-manager round, a data-and-sales-figures review, and then a peer from the sales team I would have joined. On paper it sounded straightforward, but the coordination was a mess.
I received requests for times I had already said I was unavailable. The recruiter asked again for availability for the following week, and I replied right away both times. The first follow-up took about two weeks before she asked again. After I sent availability, I heard nothing. I followed up twice without a response.
The conversations that happened were otherwise normal, but the end-to-end process felt disorganized and unprofessional. I never got closure. It showed me that a standard-looking process can still waste a lot of time.
