I applied through Visa's careers site and started with an online assessment containing two coding questions focused on dynamic programming and the two-pointer technique.
The interview process was where it fell apart. My first-round interview was postponed twice just before its scheduled start. On the third attempt, I joined and waited about 15 minutes before contacting the recruiter. They said the interviewer was unavailable and moved it to the next day.
That day, I did a pair-programming exercise. I explained my approach to the main coding problem and answered follow-ups about threads and concurrency. I initially got one concurrency question wrong, realized it during the conversation, and corrected it before the call ended. The interviewer seemed rushed and ended shortly afterward. After following up for about a week, I received a rejection email without feedback. I was disappointed mainly by the schedule and communication, not by my technical performance.
