After an online assessment, I went through pre-interview sessions about Zscaler's journey and the interview process. They helped me understand what the company was looking for and what the next steps would feel like.
The technical interview lasted about 75 minutes and focused mainly on medium-level DSA and problem-solving. The interviewer was genuinely friendly, which helped me think more clearly instead of getting thrown off by the conversation.
I then had an HR and managerial round focused on behavioral questions. We discussed how I had handled real-life challenges and situations from my past. I was nervous, but the interviewer helped keep the discussion comfortable.
I didn't end up with an offer. I still felt good about the technical portion because the interviewer's tone made a difference when the questions became more engaging than stressful.
