I began with an online coding assessment on data structures, algorithms, and general problem solving. The interviews that followed covered coding, system-design fundamentals, and Amazon Leadership Principles. Interviewers were professional and asked follow-ups for clarity and for my reasoning, not only the final answer.
The coding work required careful reasoning and correctness. For Leadership Principles, I had to give examples that matched the values being assessed. It was challenging but well run, and I felt I needed to be methodical and explain tradeoffs. I did not receive an offer, though the process felt consistent rather than chaotic or unfair.
Location: Madrid. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: no offer.
