ADCI - Karnataka Software Engineer interview: four-round design loop

After I cleared the online assessment, I entered the Amazon loop. It had four rounds: two coding interviews, a behavioral interview focused heavily on Amazon Leadership Principles, and a final hiring-manager round that combined coding with high-level design.

The first coding round had two LeetCode medium problems. The second moved to a hard problem, with the same expectation that I write clean code and explain my thinking. The behavioral discussion focused on how I had handled real projects and decisions, rather than what I might do in theory.

The last round paired a coding problem with a high-level system-design discussion. The structure made sense even though it was demanding. I did not receive an offer, but I left feeling they were assessing both execution and how I reason through design decisions from end to end.

Location: Bengaluru. Overall feedback: Neutral. Offer status: no offer.
