A recruiter contacted me first by phone, and the process then moved to a Zoom conversation led by a VP. After that, I went in person for a ride-along or field-style segment intended to show what the job was like outside an office. I was left waiting for a while before the in-person part got started, which disrupted the momentum.
The field reality was central to the process. They made it clear that I would need to be comfortable selling out in the field, and the driving and road side of the job came up directly. In a later stage I was with about five representatives, shadowing them, and could see how much of the work depended on staying active and present throughout the day instead of sitting at a desk. It felt like a test of whether I could handle the rhythm and practical logistics of full-cycle sales.
Even with the wait, it was a good experience. I did not get an offer from those steps, but I appreciated the direct view of the field and the transparent way they checked how I would operate on the ground.
Location: Raleigh, NC. Overall feedback: Negative. Offer status: no offer.
